West of Branson is a hidden jewel of bottomland forest, flower filled glades and over 1500 acres of natural beauty that keeps visitors coming back. The Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation area is perfect for flat hikes through natural beauty, with trails of varying lengths. The Homesteaders Trail holds a particular attraction as it meanders past several ruins of old homesteads. A 40 foot viewing tower gives visitors a four story perspective of the surrounding forest. Hours are from daybreak to sunset year round.
