Drive in movies once dotted the landscape and people could escape with their cars to sit and watch a movie. While a few icons still remain, the Rivermarket District had a different idea. Movies in the park. Each week as weather permits in the summer, the Rivermarket District in downtown Little Rock hosts Movies in the Park. Bring a blanket and picnic basket or grab some food from food trucks set up at the venue and enjoy a popular movie under the stars.

Not only are there books, but the librarians keep the schedule full of fun activities for children, visiting speakers, hosted movies and an entire floor dedicated just to teens.
